Series 6 7 8 9 Power Wheelchair Measurement

	Series 6, 7, 8 and 9 powered wheelchair measurement (excludes power elevator models)
	By using the following instructions to measure your wheelchair, you will be assured that you are ordering the correct chair dimensions and or replacement component dimensions.

Seat Width
To determine seat width please measure from outside of seat frame as pictured. Try and allow 1cm clearance per side of client. Eg. If client measures 44cm across hips when seated make chair width 46cm.

Seat Depth
Before determining seat depth, please select which upholstery type you will be using, as this will affect the seat depth dimension. This also applies if you are using a custom seating module or propriety back system. Eg Jay etc

To determine seat depth measure from lug to lug as pictured

Please note that these dimensions may change depending on individual client needs and wheelchair specification. IE castor wheel clearance on footplates.

Backrest Height
Please note on a Series 6 - 9, cushion height is the same across the range.
Deluxe Style Upholstery = 580mm
Basic Foam & Ply = 560mm

The upholstery can be adjusted in height by loosening the clamps and sliding it up or down to your desired position
When requiring custom height backrest frame, please measure from the top of the backrest mounting frame to the base of the frame mounting lug.
Custom cushion sizes can be produced upon special request, please contact your nearest agent or Glide Rehabilitation Products directly to organise this.

Seat Height
To determine seat height, please measure from the ground up the side of the castor wheel, fork and mount up to the side rail of your S6 - 9, please ensure you measure as vertically as possible and that your measurement does NOT include the lug where the swingout attaches.

Knee to Heel Length
To determine knee to heel length on your Series 6 - 9 please measure from the inside edge of the footplate up to the side rail, please ensure your measurement does NOT include the lug where the swingout attaches to.
